Interdisciplinary Group on Computational Creativity

The challenges that our society faces nowadays are so complex that their solutions demand an interdisciplinary approach. Education, health, sustainability and environmentalism are examples of major topics that require the participation of experts from diverse disciplines in order to point out the main problems associated to such topics and find the mechanisms to sort them out. We believe that computational creativity can collaborate in the search for innovative answers by developing computational models and systems that allows exploring and producing pioneering solutions.

Objective
The purpose of this group is to develop computational models of the creative process as well as prototypes that allow experimenting with such models. We focus in the areas of narrative generation and the composition process in design.
